Our Mission
The object of the Fort Hill Rifle and Pistol Club (FHRPC) is the encouragement of organized rifle and pistol shooting among citizens of the United States of America resident in our community, with a view toward a better knowledge on the part of such citizens of the safe handling and proper use of firearms, as well as improved marksmanship. It is our further object and purpose to forward the development of those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance, which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.
FHRPC is a private club for members only.
Turkey Shoot and BR Rifle
- October 4, 2026, at Morningside range.
- Turkey Shoot 10 AM to Noon. This will be iron sighted lever guns from the bench at 50 yards. 10-shots for $5.00. Highest score wins cash. Also, poker cards on back of target, worst had wins cash.
- BR Shoot 1 PM to 3 PM. Rifle must weigh 9.0 pounds or under, scopes must be adjusted to 9 power max. 100 yards, 5 shots for $5.00, 2-piece rests only.
- Life members can pick up 2027 cards.
- Annual members can also get their cards. Check or cash; exact change appreciated.
- Hotdogs and potato chips will be available.
